This Privacy Policy describes our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of Your information when You use the Service and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You.

  • Application (app) refers to the "Need Help?!" application, the software program provided by the Company.

  • Developer, owner is a person that created the Application, controls and owns it.
  • Device means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, a cell phone or a digital tablet.

  • Service refers to the Application "Need Help?!".

  • Address, State, Province, ZIP/Postal code, City

Usage Data

We do not request and process sensitive personal information (unless You decide to share such information in Reqests or Proposals for help, that You may create in our Application, or in messages You may send to other Application users).

Important:
While creating a Request or a Proposal for Help in our Application, You may share with us the only information You wish to be exposed publicly so other users of the Application could find and contact You. It's up to You to decide which information (contact details) to provide and which is enough for other users to contact You.

Actually, You may provide just a minimal personal information (including Your name), and then You still will be reachable by the internal Application messaging system (including push notifications). Although without more detailed information about Yourself it might be not enough for other users to trust You.

Information automatically collected

Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service.

Usage Data may include information such as Your Device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that You visit, the time and date of Your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

When You access the Service by or through a mobile device, We may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device You use, the IP address of Your mobile device, Your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser You use, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

We may also collect information that Your browser sends (if You use a browser to use our Service) whenever You visit our Service or when You access the Service by or through a mobile device.

Information Collected with Your prior permission

While using our Application, in order to provide features of our Application, We may collect, with Your prior permission:

  • Information regarding your location

We use this information to provide features of our Service, to improve and customize our Service. The information may be uploaded to the Company's servers and/or a Service Provider's server or it may be simply stored on Your device.

You can enable or disable access to this information at any time, through Your Device settings.

But please take into account, that if we cannot detect Your location:

  • We won't be able to automatically show Your position on the map within the Application, and You'll need to this manually
  • If You create a Request or a Proposal for Help in the Application, other users will see the warning that Your location has not been detected automatically (and therefore is not reliable)

We may use cookies and other tracking technologies to collect and store your information.

Other permissions that could be requested

While using our Application, we may request Your permission to download files into Your device's download folder. This is needed to make it possible for You to add attachments to Your outbound messages and save attachments from Your incoming messages to Your device

We may request to send you push notifications regarding your account or certain features of the application. If you wish to opt out from receiving these types of communications, you may turn them off in your device's settings.

Use of Your Personal Data

We only process Your personal data when we believe it is necessary and we have a valid legal reason (i.e., legal basis) to do so under applicable law, like with Your consent (including implied one), to comply with laws and the Application logic, to provide You with services to enter into or fulfill our contractual obligations, to protect Your rights, or to fulfill our legitimate business interests.

The Company may use Personal Data for the following purposes:

  • To provide and maintain the Service's main features - user-to-user communications: We may process Your information if You choose to use any of our Application features that allow for communication with other users. That may be used while creating and exposing Your Requests or Proposals for Help to other users of the Service and for monitoring the usage of our Service.
  • To manage Your Account: to manage Your registration as a user of the Service. The Personal Data You provide can give You access to different functionalities of the Service that are available to You as a registered user.
  • To contact You: To contact You by email, telephone calls, SMS, or other equivalent forms of electronic communication, such as a mobile application's push notifications regarding updates or informative communications related to the functionalities, products or contracted services, including the security updates, when necessary or reasonable for their implementation.
  • To manage Your support requests: To attend and manage Your requests to Us. We may process your information to respond to your inquiries and solve any potential issues you might have with the requested service.
  • To send administrative information to you: We may process your information to send you details about our products and services, changes to our terms and policies, news, general information about our Service, etc.
  • To save or protect an individual's vital interest: We may process Your information when necessary to save or protect an individual’s vital interest, such as to prevent harm.
  • For other purposes: We may use Your device information for other purposes, such as data analysis, identifying usage trends, determining the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns and to evaluate and improve our Service, products, services, marketing and Your experience.

We may share Your personal information in the following situations:

  • With other users: when You share personal information or otherwise interact in the public areas with other users, such information may be viewed by all users and may be publicly distributed outside (which is the main feature of our Service).

Third Party Services, that may process Your personal data

Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC)

Google Analytics 4 utilizes the Data collected to track and examine the use of this Application, to prepare reports on its activities and share them with other Google services. It may use the Data collected to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network.

In Google Analytics 4, IP addresses are used at collection time and then discarded before Data is logged in any data center or server.

Google Maps is a maps visualization service provided by Google LLC that allows this Application to incorporate content of this kind on its pages.

Firebase Crashlytics - a crash reporting solution for developers of mobile applications ("Application(s)"), including analyzing crash reports to provide information about how and under what circumstances such applications crashed

Retention of Your Personal Data

The Company will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

The Company will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of our Service, or We are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.

To the extent possible, we will avoid requesting additional information from You for the purposes of verification. We will delete such additionally provided information as soon as we finish verifying You.

Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent’s use of the Services. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18. If You are a parent or guardian and You are aware that Your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us.
