1. REGISTRATION AND AUTHENTICATION:
In order for Your data to be securely stored, even if You would replace Your mobile device, reinstall the application or some kind of failure occurs, it is advisable for You to register in our application and continue to use it under Your account.
In addition, as a registered user of our application, You will be able to receive notifications via e-mail.
- If You already have an account in our app, log in on the authentication page using the "Login" menu item in the "Account" section of the app's main menu.
- If You are new to our system, please register on the registration page using the "Registration" menu item in the "Account" section of the application's main menu.
- After registration, You will need to confirm Your e-mail. For this, a registration confirmation letter with necessary instructions will be sent to Your e-mail address. This is necessary so that no one can use Your personal e-mail within our application.
- If you are logged into Your account (authenticated in the application) and have confirmed Your e-mail, then You will see a green dot on the main menu icon in the upper right corner of the screen. If You have not confirmed Your e-mail yet, the color of the dot will be orange. Otherwise, the dot color will be red.
2. CREATING A REQUEST FOR HELP ON THE MAP:
If you need help, you can show on the map where you are and describe your problem in details. Let's suppose you need help with food or medicine, caring for a sick person, finding a person, or something else...
- Go to the "My Requests for Help" page. To do this, click the "Requests for help" button on the main page of the application, or select such a menu item in the "Requests and Proposals" section, or click on the icon of a man with a raised hand in the bottom navigation bar. Then click the "Only mine" button in the top right of the screen.
- Make sure the center of the map (shown as a black cross X symbol) is set to Your location (or the location where help is needed). The map is initially set up to be centered on Your location, which should be detected by Your mobile device automatically. If you have not yet detected your location automatically, tap the "target" icon in the top right corner of the map. You can change your location point the same way You usually do on any touch screen devices (tap and pull the map to shift it) and a two-finger gesture to narrow and expand the map at the same time allows You to change the map scale (zoom in or out).
- Click the plus icon on the right side of the map or the "Add new request" button in the section with a list of Requests under the map. At the same time, a new Request for Help will be created, and a corresponding marker in the form of an icon of a man with a raised hand will be placed in the center of the map.
- When You click on a marker, the first click selects it, and the second click opens the editing popup window. Also, after the first click on the marker, a plate appears under the map with brief data of the selected marker and icons of its control. Clicking on the page icon will open the window for editing this Request for Help.
- In the window that appears, indicate the type of Help you need, describe Your problem in detail, Your contact details, etc.
- At any stage of editing Your Request for Help, You can close the editing window (by pulling down the popup window header). In this case, all the data You entered will be temporarily saved (but will not be sent to the server and applied permanently).
- If You want to change the position of the marker, close the editing window (if it's opened), long press on the desired marker, which will turn on the mode of its movement, and drag the marker to the desired location.
- If You have changed the location of the marker on the map, You will need to open the Request edit window and save it again to update the data on the server.
- After You have entered all the details of Your Help Request, You can click on the "Save Request" button and the data will be sent to the server and immediately become available to all users of the application.
- At any time after creating a Request, You can open its editing window (double-click on the marker on the map or click on the page icon next to the Request title in the Requests list under the map), change and save it again.
- Your Request can be answered by a person who would like to help You through a regular push message in the application (you can then find this message in Your Message archive), by mail (if you are authorized in our application), by phone , if you specified it, or the person will come directly to the specified address, if necessary.
- When Your Request has been answered and You have finally agreed on some assistance, please change the status of Your Request to "In Progress" or "Completed".
